Safety Tests
State and local authorities typically require mandatory safety and pressure tests on elevators and escalators. When comparing service contracts, make sure you ask if the safety test is included in the contract. Vertical Mobility performs routine safety checks.
Annual No Load
To keep your elevator certificate of operation valid, all public elevators, dumbwaiters, LULA elevators, stairlifts, platform lifts, and material lifts must undergo an annual safety test.
Full Load
5- year and 3- year Full Load tests are required depending on jurisdiction.
Cat 1, Cat 3, Cat 5 Michigan
Depending on the type of device, Michigan requires No Load and Full Load Tests.
